My Story
For many years, I've worked alongside children, young people, families and schools, supporting them through some of the most important educational transitions. My passion lies in helping children feel emotionally prepared for change, building confidence, resilience and a genuine sense of belonging before challenges become barriers.
Through TFORTRANSITION CIC, I deliver creative transition programmes for schools, including Year 5 early transition sessions and Year 6 secondary school preparation programmes, designed to help children develop the emotional, social and practical skills they need to move confidently into the next stage of their education. These interactive sessions encourage children to explore change, understand their emotions, build independence and recognise their own strengths.
Alongside my school programmes, I create lived-experience resources in collaboration with children and young people. Many of these have been co-produced with my own teenage daughter and other young contributors, ensuring that their voices, ideas and experiences help shape every page. I believe the most meaningful resources are created with children, not simply for them.
Everything I create is guided by one simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, heard and that they truly belong. Whether I'm delivering workshops in schools or developing creative resources for families and professionals, my aim is always the same, to give children the confidence to embrace change and recognise everything they are capable of.
