Tailored Transition Workshops for year 5s in schools​

Behind every child who struggles to attend school is a story we might not yet fully understand. When we shift from asking “Why won’t they come in?” to “What do they need to feel able to come in?”, we open the door to real change for that child, their family, and the whole school community.​

 

What the Programme Offers

My T for transition workshops are designed to provide a safe and supportive space where pupils can openly explore their feelings about change. With a focus on building confidence and resilience, I’ve created an environment where every pupil is encouraged to discuss their concerns and aspirations as they face new routines and expectations.

 

Workshop Benefits​

This early‑intervention model allows time to gently build confidence, emotional regulation and familiarity with the concept of transition before the pressures of Year 6 begin. Through small‑group and one‑to‑one sessions.

 

Preparing for Key Transitions

Starting transition work in Year 5 ensures children are identified early, supported proactively and able to enter Year 6, and eventually Year 7, feeling more secure, capable and prepared for the changes ahead.

• 6-week programme

• Minimum 8 students

• £10 per student per week = £60

• £650 full delivery cost per school

• Total = £1250
